Donald Wilborn and Embarcadero Records proudly present the debut album from American duo Dahli, entitled 'Palindrome'. Dahli is a collaborative effort between Shaun Valentine and Darin Carter, both talented artists, dj's and producers based out of Austin, Texas. Following on from their well received singles 'Elfen Lied' and 'Fifteen Hours', the pair of budding producers took some time off to deal with personal tragedies and life issues which saw them absent from the studio completely for nearly a year.

All of these feelings are clearly present on this album. The opening of 'Oracle' marries tech house, techno and progressive house elements over sweeping orchestral pads and arctic synth leads. The dark, deep and melodic 'Dolorous' follows with moody pads, punishing drums and reverberated bass matched to moody hypnotic synths that carry on for a solid nine minutes. 'Jaundiced Eye' comes up next to hit you with even heavier drums, darker synths and industrial percussive arrangements that must be played on massive sound systems in dark, sweaty nightclubs for full effect.

'Dyana' takes the deep and moody approach and adds a voice arrangement compiled of twelve voices tweaked and reworked into a distorted melodic riff that floats over haunting leads and a creeping groove. 'Locate Vacate' hits you hard and fast with solid progressive house grooves in an extended mix that is tailor made for discerning dance floors. It features Mr. Valentine's niece contributing a vocal sample that is reworked completely from a young girls voice into what you hear on the track.

'Dander' is a last minute addition to the project by Mr. Carter, and is a totally uncompromising techno banger with pounding drums, crisp percussion and a synth loop that has been destroying clubs in testing sessions. 'Closure' is the finale to closeout not only the album, but the emotions from life experiences that formed the basis of recording the project. It is a farewell to a dark chapter and a welcoming to new beginnings. Bright melodic overtones, spacey pads and a chugging bassline matched to airy chords presented in long form to complete the story.
